In the 4th minute, Emerson Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute Jonatan Felipo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildo Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Felipo's late challenge caught a BRASIL.Sp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonatan Felipo helped the player get up and apologised. Jonatan Felipo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Club Atlético Atlanta's Dionisio Monico got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 minutes of play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Gaston Joanes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gildo Nogueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute, Jonatan Felipo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 21 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Aguiar. In the 26th minute of the match, Zeca Rosado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Basilio Justin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 28th minute of the match Gaston Joanes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gildo Nogueira skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 minutes, Joaquin Fonso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the BRASIL.Sp players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Felipo in the 32nd minute of play forced BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper Gildo Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Paulino Frechoso got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Basilio Justin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeca Rosado in the 34th minute. 40 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Felipo came free, but Gildo Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Ranolfo charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Ranolfo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Bernardo Ranolfo got a free kick in the 44th minute. Joaquin Fonso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gildo Nogueira having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Jonatan Felipo made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Aguiar. After recieving a nice pass, Club Atlético Atlanta's Dionisio Monico tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Basilio Justin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Martins in the 56th minute of the match. Bernardo Ranolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. BRASIL.Sp made a substitution. Hermínio Neiva replaced Ian Martins. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bernardo Ranolfo hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Roberto Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atlético Atlanta's Basilio Justin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca Rosado in the 63rd minute of play. Club Atlético Atlanta's Leonardo Paulin was substituted for Joaquin Fonso. Club Atlético Atlanta's Elpidio Shantala was substituted for Bernardo Ranolfo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean Simões during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elpidio Shantala did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Gildo Nogueira 83 minutes into the match. Basilio Justin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper Gildo Nogueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Felipo. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atlético Atlanta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
