The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zeca Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Goren having to interfere. Roberto Dias hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeca Rosado during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Galmock FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Bonifaco. Zeca Rosado succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 24th playminute. After 29 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Aguiar. When Miguel Bonifaco came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Galmock FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Bonifaco couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute Zeca Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Goren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian Martins in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Federico Goren saved Galmock FC from getting behind. Federico Goren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Martins in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match, Ian Martins tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Federico Goren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Federico Goren was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Ian Martins capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ian Martins really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Venancio Nayely stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Galmock FC defense, Hermínio Neiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Goren. The Galmock FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Goren should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute, Horácio Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 65 minutes, Zeca Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BRASIL.Sp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeca Rosado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venancio Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Galmock FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo de Salles came free, but Federico Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper Gildo Nogueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Federico Goren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
