Sander Heubach hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Eelco Lanting didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lalo Landa went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dante Hondo during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Galmock FC got a freekick which was hit by Dante Hondo. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Federico Goren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eelco Lanting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Homero Thomson, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With 35 minutes on the clock, Guido Garci commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lalo Landa was the one to do the kick off. Federico Goren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Keller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Lalo Landa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galmock FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lalo Landa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eelco Lanting breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eelco Lanting made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lalo Landa in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute Arjan Zoontjens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Goren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lalo Landa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Miguel Bonifaco sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Eelco Lanting threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Miguel Bonifaco this time.
