An unexpectedly hard shot by Süruri Ethem in the 28th minute of play forced Vestegnens Betonhelte's goalkeeper Jakob Tollesen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The penalty shot was made by Fazlı Uğursoy, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vestegnens Betonhelte's Jakob Tollesen. 1-1. 43 minutes into the match, FC Montana's goal looked a bit too open when Berndt Blæsgaard came free, but Gazi Gencer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ivar Orry made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC Montana's zone, Ivar Orry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gazi Gencer came out of the goal and Ivar Orry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gazi Gencer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berndt Blæsgaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of FC Montana booed when Vestegnens Betonhelte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gynther Gyldenkrog didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jakob Tollesen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anıl Arda Zeren in the 67th minute of play.
