Inocencio Veronica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute Esteban Ikatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Udalaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Machine Gun Kelly's Tadeo Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Rafaela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camillo Daniele to maneuver through the defense. Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Erramun in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Conrado Erramun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Machine Gun Kelly booed when Rafaela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Guillerme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafaela FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Francisco Sá scored to the left of an out of position Inocencio Veronica, making the score, 2-0.

Machine Gun Kelly made a substitution. Tony Parker replaced Sebastian Kismi. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrado Erramun made a kick off. Inocencio Veronica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Erramun, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Machine Gun Kelly's Alberto Lizer was substituted for Abdul Jabbar Mansur. Rafaela FC's Octavio Gonzo was substituted for Eloy Gipuzkoa. In the 71st minute, Machine Gun Kelly's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Esteban Ikatz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Machine Gun Kelly's Tadeo Udalaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Machine Gun Kelly from getting a goal against them. Inocencio Veronica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristides Boniel's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Aristides Boniel notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica. Inocencio Veronica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aristides Boniel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inocencio Veronica having to make a save. Inocencio Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Boniel in the 78th minute of play. After some careless play in the Machine Gun Kelly defense, Ross Strong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeo Udalaitz. The Machine Gun Kelly fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeo Udalaitz should have stopped the shot. Rafaela FC made a substitution. Ubaldo Lluis replaced Basilio Guillerme. When Machine Gun Kelly's Aristides Boniel in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Parker in the 94th minute of play. Tadeo Udalaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Gonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 97 minutes Machine Gun Kelly's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nico Veit who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Nico Veit almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Machine Gun Kelly's Tadeo Udalaitz did a great save.

Rafaela FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
