In the 15th minute Zézinho Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Chorche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Veloso came free, but Uriel Chorche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Elias Silvino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Defensores del Ángel Gris's Uriel Chorche did a great save. Uriel Chorche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Clis in the 25th minute of the match. After 27 minutes Defensores del Ángel Gris's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elias Silvino who took care of the corner kick. Pablo Maggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Gilabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Chorche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Veloso in the 30th minute of the match. Defensores del Ángel Gris's Uriel Chorche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Veloso in the 32nd minute of play. Pablo Maggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Gilabert in the 34th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Pablo Maggio threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Serafim Catranides, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 37 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goal looked a bit too open when Cătălin Elchev came free, but Uriel Chorche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Domingo Clis fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Uriel Chorche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingo Clis's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Domingo Clis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 41st minute Maxime Tijs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Chorche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uriel Chorche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Clis in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute Bernard Ochabski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Maggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Unzaga hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Gilabert to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Alfonso Gilabert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores del Ángel Gris's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Gilabert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Maggio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernard Ochabski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Maggio having to interfere. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Dmitriy Didorenko was substituted for Zézinho Veloso. Tymoteusz Walentowicz hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Alifonso Irureta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Chorche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tymoteusz Walentowicz in the 72nd minute of play. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Pablo Maggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Ochabski in the 73rd minute of play. Pablo Maggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Gilabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Defensores del Ángel Gris's attentive Leopoldo Aimar managed to snatch the ball when Tymoteusz Walentowicz made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dmitriy Didorenko got free with Uriel Chorche in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 played minutes Defensores del Ángel Gris got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Gilabert.
