The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Guter Tobia put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. Alfonso Goicoechea took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Bakar. Marcial Bakar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, Aves Negras's goalkeeper Marcial Bakar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Goicoechea. In the 19th minute of the match Aves Negras got a corner. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rogelio Fe ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Rogelio Fe almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski did a great save. Marcial Bakar made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Remigio Erramu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guter Tobia in the 36th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Guter Tobia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guter Tobia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After some careless play in the Aves Negras defense, Alfonso Goicoechea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Bakar. The Aves Negras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Bakar should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Hermengildo Erroman got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Pankracy Glogowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guter Tobia went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score.

Aves Negras's Tamer Yalçıner was substituted for Rogelio Fe. Aves Negras made a substitution. Cao Chen Yu replaced Humberto Urtsin. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Goicoechea was the one to do the kick off. Hermengildo Erroman's late challenge caught a Aves Negras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermengildo Erroman helped the player get up and apologised. Hermengildo Erroman kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Marcial Bakar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Pankracy Glogowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cao Chen Yu in the 88th minute. Anselmo Nevada took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Bakar. Marcial Bakar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. A collision led to Aves Negras getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Marten Descamps hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Ciro Ferdinand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Ferdinand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Bakar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
