When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Witold Ciempa sped through Aves Negras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcial Bakar. In the 17thth minute of the game Jaime Porfiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aves Negras's Marcial Bakar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cremonese's Jeremias Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guter Tobia in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Guter Tobia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aves Negras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witold Ciempa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Efrain Artal scored 3-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Cruz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute, Jaime Porfiro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Aves Negras fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cremonese had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
