A sloppy throw-in by Primitivo Laurendi in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Staffordshire Terrier FC's Mark Mager. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Urtzi got free with Clive Holloway in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute Yu Jie Xing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yu Jie Xing in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Quirce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, Pan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Jie Xing came free, but Sebastian Quirce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yu Jie Xing might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Quirce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yu Jie Xing ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute Yu Jie Xing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pan FC:s Sebastian Quirce showed great skill when he stopped Yu Jie Xing:s penalty. 1-1 came in the 29th minute when Yu Jie Xing all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Sebastian Quirce. When Pan FC's Arnaldo Urtzi in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Yu Jie Xing blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Quirce having to make a save. Clive Holloway was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Arnaldo Urtzi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnaldo Urtzi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Sebastian Quirce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Staffordshire Terrier FC defense, Arnaldo Urtzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clive Holloway. The Staffordshire Terrier FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clive Holloway should have stopped the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Urtzi couldn't finish the play. Pan FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
