The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cazimir Angelescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petrică Măcriș, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Pora in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Laurențiu Pora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Branislav Velchevski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erhan Alp, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Elpidio Francis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cazimir Angelescu. Elpidio Francis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. A sloppy throw-in by Erez Loco in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Rafael Dalmu. In the 24th minute, Laurențiu Pora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hayalim Kedoshim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Francis in the 28th minute of play forced Hayalim Kedoshim's goalkeeper Cazimir Angelescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Elpidio Francis came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Francis couldn't finish the play. If Laurențiu Pora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Pora in the 30th minute of play. Tadeu Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Pora in the 39th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Laurențiu Pora's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Branislav Velchevski was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Pora in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laurențiu Pora made a kick off. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Pora in the 54th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Elpidio Francis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Cazimir Angelescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hayalim Kedoshim made a substitution. Garfield Sau replaced Luis Tamaron. Hayalim Kedoshim's Elano Salgado was substituted for Johny Konings. When ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Hayalim Kedoshim's Gelu Chirilă in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 90th minute Gelu Chirilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th play minute Gelu Chirilă came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Branislav Velchevski. 3-4. When the match was over Hayalim Kedoshim could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA throughout the match.
