An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Griffiths in the 12th minute of play forced America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Stefan Rasiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jake Grayson's late challenge caught a America Futebol Clube SP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jake Grayson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Jake Grayson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeronimo Rico struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Lennie Rusby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for America Futebol Clube SP. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz de Moraes in the 20th minute of play forced America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Stefan Rasiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Rico in the 23rd minute of play forced Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Lennie Rusby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. America Futebol Clube SP were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Heavenly Hooters's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Capixaba took the corner. The corner led America Futebol Clube SP's Carlos Capixaba to fire away a dangerous shot which Lennie Rusby despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Rico came free, but Lennie Rusby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heavenly Hooters's Lennie Rusby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Heavenly Hooters from getting a goal against them. Stefan Rasiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brandon Wright in the 40th minute of play. Lennie Rusby made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeronimo Rico in the 41st minute. Isac Vornicu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Todd Griffiths was the one to do the kick off. America Futebol Clube SP's attentive Luiz Eduardo Paraibano managed to snatch the ball when Jake Grayson made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. If Jeronimo Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Rico in the 57th minute of play forced Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Lennie Rusby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennie Rusby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iago Bala in the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Heavenly Hooters's Anthony Carey-Bertram got a free kick in the 74th minute. When Arthur Laguna came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the America Futebol Clube SP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Laguna couldn't finish the play. Lennie Rusby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iago Bala, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Arthur Laguna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Iago Bala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The America Futebol Clube SP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Iago Bala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lennie Rusby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The America Futebol Clube SP fans cheered their team off the field, for while Heavenly Hooters had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
