Tytus Orling scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Rivera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinson Haaland in the 21st minute of play forced U.S.Normande's goalkeeper Ismael Rivera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Chinese CJ Youth Academy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Aurélien Mussard scored to the left of an out of position Frank Frankfurter, making the score, 2-2.
