Mikael Damm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alvaro Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mikael Damm having to make a save. In the 11th minute Alvaro Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aymerick Tourrette's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Selatse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurélien Mussard in the 18th minute of play. U.S.Normande's Mikael Damm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 20th minute of play. Mikael Damm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute Alvaro Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Despidida AFC from getting a goal against them. Alvaro Raymond might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mikael Damm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Raymond ran back to his position shaking his head. Mikael Damm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Kajetan Gdowik struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Mikael Damm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despidida AFC. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youri Borderie in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurélien Mussard in the 36th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alvaro Raymond came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Despidida AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Raymond couldn't finish the play. Fernando Selatse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Léopold Fraval in the 44th minute. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aymerick Tourrette in the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Alvaro Raymond made a precise shot to the right of Mikael Damm. U.S.Normande's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Youri Borderie to strike the kick off in the second half. Mikael Damm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Raymond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by U.S.Normande's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emanuel Lucila was slow to take the kick. During this time Despidida AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Emanuel Lucila almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but U.S.Normande's Mikael Damm did a great save. Alvaro Raymond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Mikael Damm made a huge save. In the 71st minute Aurélien Mussard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Rizzo got free with Mikael Damm in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind U.S.Normande's goalkeeper Mikael Damm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Despidida AFC's Dinu Ivănescu was substituted for Ancho Branca. In the 81st minute, Michael Corleone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in U.S.Normande's zone, Pastor Tino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Damm came out of the goal and Pastor Tino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Mikael Damm managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, U.S.Normande's Rolf Custermans got a free kick in the 89th minute. Emiliano Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Mikael Damm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the U.S.Normande defense, Dinu Ivănescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikael Damm. The U.S.Normande fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikael Damm should have stopped the shot. Despidida AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
