In the 17th minute Jairo Malheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Iribarren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sacronas Futbol Club's Jorge Iribarren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Malheiro in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sacronas Futbol Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Noe Seedorf was slow to take the kick. During this time Radiohead Freaks Club's players had a chance to rest. A sloppy throw-in by Sixto Ted in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Radiohead Freaks Club's Denis Ekhi. After a rather tough play, Radiohead Freaks Club's Jens-Ola Åkerström got a free kick in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Radiohead Freaks Club's Jairo Malheiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Iribarren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Denis Stanislao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thom Threepwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Stanislao in the 37th minute of play. Sacronas Futbol Club's Denis Stanislao got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 47 minutes, Jairo Malheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Radiohead Freaks Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Malheiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Sacronas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jorge Iribarren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Malheiro. Thom Threepwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Stanislao in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Jairo Malheiro made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Iribarren. Sacronas Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Radiohead Freaks Club's Cayo Mario was substituted for Jairo Malheiro. Radiohead Freaks Club's Beti Roman was substituted for Gazanfer Kelim. Noe Seedorf made in the 81st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cayo Mario however managed to control. When Esteban Txerran came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Sacronas Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Txerran couldn't finish the play. Jorge Iribarren made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Cayo Mario sent off a good shot on target. Radiohead Freaks Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
