Maximiliano Astudillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Raymond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute Alvaro Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Alvaro Raymond cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Maximiliano Astudillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10 minutes into the game, Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano Astudillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 15th minute, Alvaro Raymond ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Astudillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 19th minute, Alvaro Raymond made a precise shot to the right of Maximiliano Astudillo. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. If Alvaro Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alvaro Raymond scored 5-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximiliano Astudillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximiliano Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A collision led to SAN MARTIN F.C. getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Manuel Cordera hit a great ball. After some careless play in the SAN MARTIN F.C. defense, Alvaro Raymond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximiliano Astudillo. The SAN MARTIN F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximiliano Astudillo should have stopped the shot. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Maximiliano Astudillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save SAN MARTIN F.C. from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the game, Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano Astudillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Alvaro Raymond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute of the game Mauro Ordono made a throw-in which Bernardino Ospin played forward. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. If Alvaro Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maximiliano Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Raymond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximiliano Astudillo was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Pastor Tino replaced Kajetan Gdowik. Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco was substituted for Alvaro Raymond. Emiliano Velasco scored 8-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximiliano Astudillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinu Ivănescu in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximiliano Astudillo saved SAN MARTIN F.C. from getting behind. Simon Canor hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Maximiliano Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Ivănescu in the 75th minute of play. Maximiliano Astudillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emiliano Velasco went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute, Dinu Ivănescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Alvaro Eufrasio in the 80th minute really tested Fernando Selatse's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Maximiliano Astudillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiliano Velasco's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After some careless play in the SAN MARTIN F.C. defense, Emiliano Velasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximiliano Astudillo. The SAN MARTIN F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximiliano Astudillo should have stopped the shot. In the 91stth minute of the game Dinu Ivănescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Maximiliano Astudillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Velasco came free, but Maximiliano Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despidida AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
