Gilberto Fagildo made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by U.S.Normande's Jasper Faller. After a defensive mix-up in Sacronas Futbol Club's zone, Youri Borderie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Iribarren came out of the goal and Youri Borderie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri Borderie in the 11th minute of play forced Sacronas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jorge Iribarren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Youri Borderies short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Jorge Iribarren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurélien Mussard got free with Jorge Iribarren in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Everardo Lore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Óscar Mas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Sacronas Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Youri Borderie came free, but Jorge Iribarren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Youri Borderie's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Jorge Iribarren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 27th minute, Denis Stanislao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mikael Damm was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 34th match minute, Sacronas Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Fagildo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Stanislao in the 36th minute of play forced U.S.Normande's goalkeeper Mikael Damm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, U.S.Normande's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Stanislao came free, but Mikael Damm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Youri Borderie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U.S.Normande's supporters crossed their fingers, but Youri Borderie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Léopold Fraval dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jorge Iribarren, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Youri Borderie got free with Jorge Iribarren in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilberto Fagildo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Denis Stanislao made the kick off in the second half. Jorge Iribarren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Youri Borderie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th match minute, U.S.Normande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Custermans to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Hernan Crespo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sacronas Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Crespo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikael Damm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denis Stanislao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Sacronas Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Youri Borderie came free, but Jorge Iribarren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Youri Borderie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Iribarren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute U.S.Normande were awarded a corner. Aymerick Tourrette went to the cornerflag to take it. U.S.Normande's Mathias Mulard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jorge Iribarren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri Borderie in the 70th minute of play forced Sacronas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jorge Iribarren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikael Damm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Stanislao in the 72nd minute of the match. Sacronas Futbol Club were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after U.S.Normande's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hernan Crespo took the corner. After taking down the ball on Sacronas Futbol Club's corner Kürşat Hamurcu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mikael Damm quite easily take care of the ball. Aurélien Mussard took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Iribarren. Jorge Iribarren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Sacronas Futbol Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hernan Crespo in the 88th minute. After some careless play in the Sacronas Futbol Club defense, Aurélien Mussard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Iribarren. The Sacronas Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Iribarren should have stopped the shot. Everardo Lore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Mikael Damm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sacronas Futbol Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for U.S.Normande.
