But to his dismay, Fabian Oterino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A throw-in in the 44th minute of the game was made by Eskil Tande with Ignado Ozores as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 47 minutes, Joey Guezmes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RAMBO FC and the Atlético Grau Piura players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th match minute, RAMBO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joey Guezmes to maneuver through the defense. The RAMBO FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético Grau Piura were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benvide Cercalde made a kick off. In the 63rdth minute of the game Fabian Oterino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RAMBO FC's Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Junior Quintana's shot from short distance in the 85th minute.
