The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. La Cosa Nostra's Joel Delfino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Sobral in the 5th minute of play. Joel Delfino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from António Sobral went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 12 minutes into the match, Predador Brasiliense MZBR's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Perpinya came free, but Octavian Jähnigen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandrinho Almeida hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute Lam Baril shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Delfino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Joel Delfino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 23 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goal looked a bit too open when António Sobral came free, but Joel Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Kacper Lizewski threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Cosa Nostra's Steve Hodge quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lam Baril in the 28th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Joel Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Otterlei ran back to his position shaking his head. Octavian Jähnigen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Otterlei in the 40th minute of the match. Raúl Palomar's late challenge caught a La Cosa Nostra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raúl Palomar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Predador Brasiliense MZBR getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Raúl Palomar hit a great ball. Joel Delfino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lam Baril, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hans Otterlei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Sobral in the 53rd minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Joel Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When La Cosa Nostra's Hans Otterlei in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Cris Gol was substituted for António Sobral. 79 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goal looked a bit too open when Lam Baril came free, but Joel Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
