Lester Serre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Otterlei in the 34th minute of the match. Leonides Rosio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Delfino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Cosa Nostra's Gustaw Ludzia got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 39 played minutes La Cosa Nostra got a freekick which was hit by Joel Suarez. 40 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Leonides Rosio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Delfino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 43rd minute, Camilo Mouricio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of La Cosa Nostra booed when San Lorenzo de Sarandi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Luty didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Hans Otterlei made the kick off in the second half. Joel Delfino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Rosio, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Lester Serre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Otterlei in the 55th minute of the match. Lester Serre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Otterlei in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to San Lorenzo de Sarandi getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Lester Serre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 66 minutes of play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lorenzo Jerrold made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Delfino was left in no man's land by his defense there! La Cosa Nostra's Marciano Bizen was substituted for Hans Otterlei. In the 73rd minute, Robert Smith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Delfino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Jerrold in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes in the game, Lorenzo Jerrold dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Ivan Errando came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joel Delfino could save by the left post. After 89 played minutes San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Cuervo. Joel Delfino made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Ivan Errando sent off a good shot on target. Lester Serre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Bizen in the 96th minute of play. La Cosa Nostra's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tytus Lepper in the 97th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the San Lorenzo de Sarandi players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
