After 36 minutes, Ryszard Barycz made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Saturnino Lehior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nilson Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Linhares in the 77th minute of play.
