Mancini's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wincenty Cwojdak ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Error 404's Pablo Escobar getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Gonsalve Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Escobar in the 18th minute of play. U.D. Mancini's Gonsalve Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Escobar in the 20th minute of play. Marcos Umbruso might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonsalve Flores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Umbruso ran back to his position shaking his head. Pablo Escobar scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonsalve Flores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, U.D. Mancini's Kadir Celilay got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Wincenty Cwojdak fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Error 404's protests and gave Wincenty Cwojdak a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of U.D. Mancini booed when Error 404 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincenty Cwojdak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Rudolf Esken shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaime Manny showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jaime Manny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kadir Celilay, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bozhil Vaptzarov to strike the kick off in the second half. At last the ball reached Faustino Orlo at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of U.D. Mancini. 2-1. If Bozhil Vaptzarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
