When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Lino Rios put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mădălin Lunca. Lino Rios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mădălin Lunca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to AFC FUSION getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Dawid Beckham hit a great ball. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Frunză in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Eztebe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ni Yuan Zhen made in the 23rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cui Ling Jing however managed to control. Lino Rios took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mădălin Lunca. Mădălin Lunca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dawid Beckham during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roberto Eztebe went to the wrong direction when Benjamin da Fonseca was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Ni Yuan Zhen in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AFC FUSION's Jan Hop. In the 44th minute, Sakarias Fernkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lino Rios made a kick off. Lino Rios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mădălin Lunca having to make a save. Ionuț Iniesta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Roberto Eztebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Rios in the 60th minute of play forced Pesqueira City's goalkeeper Mădălin Lunca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Rios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Rios to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin da Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Eztebe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 78 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin da Fonseca came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pesqueira City's goalkeeper Mădălin Lunca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin da Fonseca came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The AFC FUSION players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
