Equipo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pietro Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismael Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Günalp Talip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Iron Maiden FC's Mazarópi Barros got control of the ball when Harun Elçin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Equipo's Pietro Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ismael Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Torrent in the 27th minute of play. If Pietro Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iron Maiden FC's Mazarópi Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pietro Salles in the 28th minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Pietro Salles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iron Maiden FC's Mazarópi Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Günalp Talip in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Furman saved Equipo from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Pietro Salles notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Iron Maiden FC's Mazarópi Barros. Mazarópi Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pietro Salles got free with Mazarópi Barros in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th match minute, Equipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Gerard to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Murray in the 46th minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Furman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Harris in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arın Biçim to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Cristi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Mazarópi Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Equipo's Ismael Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günalp Talip in the 61st minute of play. Dave Murray came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ismael Furman could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Iron Maiden FC's Rob Halford got a free kick in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Ronaldo Cristi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mazarópi Barros was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Iron Maiden FC's Mazarópi Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 俞辉正 in the 72nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Iron Maiden FC defense, Darío Benedetto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mazarópi Barros. The Iron Maiden FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mazarópi Barros should have stopped the shot. Ismael Furman made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Arın Biçim sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Cristi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mazarópi Barros. Iron Maiden FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldo Cristi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Iron Maiden FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Equipo.
