In the 10th minute Equipo were awarded a corner. Raul Vigil went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Equipo's Raul Vigil to fire away a dangerous shot which Marian Gniech despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 19th minute Baldomero Bras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Gniech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Pietro Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Gniech was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Equipo's Ismael Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Åke Fransson in the 30th minute of play. Zagórna were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Equipo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lech Marek took the corner. The corner led to Zagórna's Uluç Tekinalp getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Equipo's Pietro Salles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marian Gniech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Jan-Åke Franssons short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Ismael Furman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jan-Åke Fransson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Ismael Furman made a huge save. 43 minutes into the match, Jan-Åke Fransson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Furman. Equipo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Åke Fransson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The Zagórna players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Equipo were winning 1-3.
Equipo made a substitution. Darío Benedetto replaced Emiliano Lluterio. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Åke Fransson made a kick off. Marian Gniech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Cristi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Ronaldo Cristi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Gniech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Arnista in the 62nd minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Åke Fransson in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Furman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ismael Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Fransson in the 67th minute of play. Zagórna's Marian Gniech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 俞辉正 in the 68th minute of play. Gwidon Arnista scored 2-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Furman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marian Gniech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Cristi in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Cristi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Marian Gniech was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jan-Åke Fransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ismael Furman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Equipo's Ismael Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Åke Fransson in the 85th minute of play. The Equipo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Equipo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
