The throw-in from Melquiades Chumo in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Begu Ganjang's Manuel Aurelianu. In the 16th minute, Prudencio Bilbo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tonio Bergada was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Prudencio Bilbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Begu Ganjang defense, Prudencio Bilbo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tonio Bergada. The Begu Ganjang fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tonio Bergada should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Trezeguet made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in AFTER GYM FC's zone, David Trezeguet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidiu Acatincăi came out of the goal and David Trezeguet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Begu Ganjang's goalkeeper Tonio Bergada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AFTER GYM FC's Robert Rutkowski was substituted for Prudencio Bilbo. AFTER GYM FC made a substitution. 王诚城 replaced Dalibor Seman. A sloppy throw-in by Arif Nihat Tekin in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AFTER GYM FC's Ronald Araújo. Tonio Bergada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Rutkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AFTER GYM FC's Eustaquio Bazkoare was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tonio Bergada in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 80 minutes into the game, Ronald Araújo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Begu Ganjang's Arif Nihat Tekin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 81st minute David Trezeguet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Acatincăi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Rutkowski got free with Tonio Bergada in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A well-hit corner resulted in Robert Rutkowski heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Begu Ganjang. Manuel Aurelianu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ovidiu Acatincăi. 1-2. Tonio Bergada made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Robert Rutkowski sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Trezeguet in the 98th minute of play forced AFTER GYM FC's goalkeeper Ovidiu Acatincăi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over AFTER GYM FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Begu Ganjang throughout the match.
