An unexpectedly hard shot by Arın Biçim in the 7th minute of play forced Zagórna's goalkeeper Marian Gniech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Iron Maiden FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Åke Fransson came free, but Mazarópi Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Åke Fransson took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mazarópi Barros. Mazarópi Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Marian Gniech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arın Biçim, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Marian Gniech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dave Murray in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Steve Harris lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Marian Gniech. 21 minutes into the match, Jan-Åke Fransson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mazarópi Barros. Iron Maiden FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Åke Fransson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Günalp Talip in the 33rd minute of play forced Zagórna's goalkeeper Marian Gniech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Iron Maiden FC booed when Zagórna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uluç Tekinalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Zagórna's goal looked a bit too open when Arın Biçim came free, but Marian Gniech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steve Harris came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marian Gniech could save by the left post. In the 43rdth minute of the game Jan-Åke Fransson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iron Maiden FC's Mazarópi Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zagórna's Marian Gniech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Zagórna from getting a goal against them. The Iron Maiden FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zagórna were winning 1-4.

This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Mazarópi Barros as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 70th minute Gwidon Arnista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazarópi Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute Zagórna were awarded a corner. Lech Marek went to the cornerflag to take it. Mazarópi Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Arnista in the 88th minute of play. Zagórna's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
