Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Santiago Mino started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute of the match, Arnoldo Medina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dionisio Raphael saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alfredo Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Josefsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Dionisio Raphael was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Arnoldo Medina capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnoldo Medina really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Anthony Bonelli came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dionisio Raphael could save by the left post. Dionisio Raphael was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximino Gonzalez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 17 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lisandro Gutierrez during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, PINGO PINGO's Lisandro Gutierrez got a free kick in the 20th minute. Alfredo Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Fernandes in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Filip Josefsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Joey was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 27 minutes into the match, PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Dionisio Raphael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anthony Bonelli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Micarelli in the 29th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Palermo fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Palermo's Santiago Mino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 34th minute, Anthony Bonelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dionisio Raphael was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Santiago Minos short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Dionisio Raphael to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 44 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Medina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionisio Raphael. PINGO PINGO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnoldo Medina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. When Arnoldo Medina came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Palermo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Medina couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-2.

The wind increased when Filip Josefsson made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anthony Bonelli in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dionisio Raphael saved PINGO PINGO from getting behind. Dionisio Raphael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Bonelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Josefsson in the 62nd minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anacleto Itzaina replaced Alfred Olsson. In the 72nd minute, Anthony Bonelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Santiago Mino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Raphael was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. If Alvaro Micarelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the PINGO PINGO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Palermo.
