Borys Ciszewski hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Alfredo Joey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Katon Sahilatua in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bestone 716 - Jakarta's zone, Santiago Mino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jolan Galindo came out of the goal and Santiago Mino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Palermo's Alfredo Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velichko Rakadzhiev in the 25th minute of play. Palermo's Alfredo Joey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Palermo from getting a goal against them. Jolan Galindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Velichko Rakadzhiev in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacobo Chepe. Jolan Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Medina in the 36th minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Felo to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agah Tuğser, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santiago Mino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Katon Sahilatua took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Joey. Alfredo Joey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Anthony Bonelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58thth minute of the game Antonio Mundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palermo's Alfredo Joey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute, Antonio Mundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Arnoldo Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palermo's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Medina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jolan Galindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agah Tuğser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The coaching staff of Bestone 716 - Jakarta protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vinicio Chan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.
