Ernesto Candeloro was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Jacob Albuquerque capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacob Albuquerque really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Ernesto Candeloro made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Jacob Albuquerque sent off a good shot on target. It was a well-played corner which Sebastian Mendoza managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 24 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's Jacob Albuquerque sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Candeloro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute Velichko Rakadzhiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Urdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacob Albuquerque to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, La Candela FC's Jacob Albuquerque nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Candeloro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 62 minutes into the match, Jacob Albuquerque had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Candeloro.
