The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Alcântara got free with Venancio Cristofol in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 5th minute, Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Luke Van de kauter dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Reynaldo Astrada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Bâru's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Venancio Cristofol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luke Van de kauter took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Venancio Cristofol. Venancio Cristofol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A sloppy throw-in by Konrad Birkenhagen in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Unidad de Matanza's Clodoveo Orlin. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luke Van de kauter in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venancio Cristofol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eustaquio Dabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Venancio Cristofol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Astrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Bâru in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Venancio Cristofol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luke Van de kauter. When Nestor Bâru came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Unidad de Matanza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Bâru couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd match minute, Unidad de Matanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yannick Bartz to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Venancio Cristofol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Alcântara. In the 47th minute Nestor Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Astrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luke Van de kauter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Venancio Cristofol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luke Van de kauter, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Luke Van de kauter struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Venancio Cristofol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb. Unidad de Matanza made a substitution. Maarten Aelbrecht replaced Yannick Bartz. Venancio Cristofol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Dabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Reynaldo Astrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Kirchner in the 64th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luke Van de kauter in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Cristofol saved Unidad de Matanza from getting behind. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Reynaldo Astrada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maarten Aelbrecht in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Unidad de Matanza booed when Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Isaias Gerazan was substituted for Isidro Gabrio. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Sergio Saturno was substituted for Eustaquio Dabi. After 74 played minutes Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Alcântara. In the 77th minute Máximo Kirchner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Astrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute of the match Unidad de Matanza got a corner. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Waldemar Okopny ran over to the corner to take the kick. Reynaldo Astrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Kirchner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máximo Kirchner in the 83rd minute of play forced Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's goalkeeper Reynaldo Astrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Máximo Kirchner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Astrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute Prudencio Ralondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Prudencio Ralondo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Venancio Cristofol. Unidad de Matanza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prudencio Ralondo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Unidad de Matanza players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb.
