Godfredo Mel spun around in front of the goal 36 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of La Candela FC's goal. 38 minutes into the match, Liverpool Fans's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Servando came free, but Ruben Wilza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Servando in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruben Wilza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. La Candela FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Damian Servando in the 40th minute. The corner led to La Candela FC's Guaberto Bitxintxo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Damian Servando managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Candela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Servando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Wilza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Servando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Urdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Velichko Rakadzhiev in the 52nd minute of play. La Candela FC's Jacobo Urdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velichko Rakadzhiev in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes in the game, Damian Servando fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ruben Wilza having to interfere. In the 69th minute of the match, Damian Servando tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ruben Wilza saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool Fans's zone, Liu Liang Gang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Wilza came out of the goal and Liu Liang Gang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Servando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Wilza having to make a save. In the 82nd minute La Candela FC were awarded a corner. Damian Servando went to the cornerflag to take it. La Candela FC's Damian Servando was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ruben Wilza in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 85th minute of the match, Damian Servando got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ruben Wilza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Guaberto Bitxintxo made a great header on La Candela FC's corner, it was just that Liverpool Fans's Ruben Wilza managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Velichko Rakadzhiev in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Urdin saved La Candela FC from getting behind. Jacobo Urdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borys Ciszewski in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Liverpool Fans's Antonio Mundo got a free kick in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Liverpool Fans fans cheered their team off the field, for while La Candela FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
