With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Crouch in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg António Roma saved Oflador FC 2003 from getting behind. Oflador FC 2003's António Roma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Crouch in the 16th minute of play. Horacio Librado hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Qin Fan Sheng acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Prudencio Benino. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peter Crouch was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Librado got free with António Roma in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
