The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes Real Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Du. Gao Fei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indiana Jones in the 40th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Indiana Jones to strike the kick off in the second half. Real Racing Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the match Club El Progreso got a corner. Real Racing Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adolfo Fidensio ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Club El Progreso's corner Adolfo Fidensio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gao Fei quite easily take care of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's Indiana Jones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gao Fei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Bonifacio Txindoki fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club El Progreso's protests and gave Bonifacio Txindoki a yellow card for diving instead. Arnaldo Solustiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club El Progreso had played much better football throughout.
