But to his dismay, Kip William quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, La Acade's David Abaurre got a free kick in the 8th minute. Adolfo Fidensio struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Blas Aritza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club El Progreso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Cordaro in the 11th minute of play forced La Acade's goalkeeper Blas Aritza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th play minute Kip William came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benjamin Tino. 2-0. Blas Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indiana Jones in the 17th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, La Acade's Leonard Lamczyk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamin Tino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Blas Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Cordaro in the 32nd minute of the match. Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Club El Progreso from getting a goal against them. La Acade's Blas Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indiana Jones in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Indiana Jones made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Prospero Inguma threw the ball into play from the sideline. Benjamin Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Inguma, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Indiana Jones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Blas Aritza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute Kip William shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonard Lamczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Leonard Lamczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Acade's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Lamczyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Tino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lisandro Totakoxe made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Acade's Stelian Avram. A sloppy throw-in by Lisandro Totakoxe in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La Acade's Stelian Avram. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Felipe Saturnin managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Acade's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Saturnin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Tino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute Club El Progreso were awarded a corner. Adolfo Fidensio went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Saturnin in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Tino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th match minute, Club El Progreso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Totakoxe to maneuver through the defense. La Acade's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
