The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Serafim Catranides reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ariel Mourelatos. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Naelio in the 10th minute of play forced Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Nicolás DAndrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Defensores del Ángel Gris getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Serafim Catranides hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Naelio came free, but Nicolás DAndrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valerio Spadoni in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolás DAndrea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicolás DAndrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Naelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Nicolás DAndrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valerio Spadoni in the 20th minute of play. Amboy FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Bernard Ochabski scored to the left of an out of position Ariel Mourelatos, making the score, 2-0. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Catranides in the 24th minute of play. Nicolás DAndrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valerio Spadoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Bernard Ochabski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Mourelatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafim Catranides could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Ariel Mourelatos made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Atilano Mantzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valerio Spadoni in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolás DAndrea saved Defensores del Ángel Gris from getting behind. Nicolás DAndrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Naelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A beautiful save bye Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalie prevented a goal. Valerio Spadoni kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Amboy FC were furious when Ádám Gebert was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Romulo Blai got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ariel Mourelatos. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When Jacinto Naelio came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Amboy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Naelio couldn't finish the play. If Mario Alberto Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jacinto Naelio 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2. Jacinto Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás DAndrea having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Nicolás DAndrea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Naelio. Ariel Mourelatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Cordero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Naelio got free with Nicolás DAndrea in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amboy FC's Jacinto Naelio got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amboy FC made a substitution. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán replaced Valerio Spadoni. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Nicolás DAndrea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amboy FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
