In the 13th minute, Guto Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Marquinhos Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antón Boldižár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Pedrinho Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stano Kelbel in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stano Kelbel got free with Pedrinho Sergipano in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stano Kelbel in the 33rd minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Pedrinho Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos Martins. In the 35th minute, FC Kukova's Marián Bečka ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedrinho Sergipano. Pedrinho Sergipano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With a little luck, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Pedrinho Sergipano got control of the ball when Stano Kelbel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 40 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Perez. In the 42nd minute Marián Bečka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
