After a defensive mix-up in FC Kukova's zone, Ermanno Lemme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antón Boldižár came out of the goal and Ermanno Lemme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of FC Kukova booed when Seggiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Talamo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antón Boldižár showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermanno Lemme, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Dave Berardini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antón Boldižár took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Berardini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Kukova's Antón Boldižár played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Berardini in the 27th minute of play. After 30 played minutes FC Kukova got a freekick which was hit by Vladimír Bohuš. 31 minutes into the match, FC Kukova's goal looked a bit too open when Eraldo Giammaria came free, but Antón Boldižár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Di Gennaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marián Bečka, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Bruno Cinalli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antón Boldižár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pavol Majer fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kukova's protests and gave Pavol Majer a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Seggiano booed when FC Kukova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavol Majer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavol Majer was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 45th match minute, FC Kukova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavol Majer to maneuver through the defense. Ermanno Lemme kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Eraldo Giammaria got a very nice opportunity to score, but Antón Boldižár was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Dave Berardini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seggiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Berardini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antón Boldižár breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antón Boldižár showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Cinalli, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Bruno Cinalli kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Peter Ábel kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Seggiano's Dave Berardini managed to work through FC Kukova's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Dave Berardini dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Eraldo Giammaria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antón Boldižár having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermanno Lemme got free with Antón Boldižár in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antón Boldižár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Berardini in the 84th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Kukova were victorious despite being under pressure from Seggiano for much of the match.
