After some careless play in the MIT defense, Gilbert Cetnar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonard Cutean. The MIT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonard Cutean should have stopped the shot. After 5 played minutes MIT got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Enișteanu. Mădălin Corocăescu kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. FC Brzesko City's Leon Tscherner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Costa in the 10th minute of play. Leon Tscherner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Mara, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Cezariu in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Brzesko City's goalkeeper Leon Tscherner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Costel Cezariu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ryszard Falkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilbert Cetnar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonard Cutean. That made the score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. Daniel Enișteanu charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Enișteanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 33 minutes into the game, Sergiu Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MIT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Brzesko City the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergiu Costa to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Ziemowit Ziomkowski notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of MIT's Leonard Cutean. Leonard Cutean was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonard Cutean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Cetnar in the 41st minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilbert Cetnar to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Domalik came free, but Leonard Cutean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Tomasz Domalik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute Ziemowit Ziomkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Cutean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Remus Chilian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MIT's Leonard Cutean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Grunwalski in the 64th minute of play. Leonard Cutean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomasz Domalik, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. MIT's Leonard Cutean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Domalik in the 68th minute of play. Remus Chilian's late challenge caught a FC Brzesko City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remus Chilian helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, MIT's Remus Chilian got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute Ryszard Falkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Cutean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Enișteanu was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 76th minute, Daniel Enișteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Cutean didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilbert Cetnar went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 89th match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remus Chilian to maneuver through the defense. Mădălin Corocăescu hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. FC Brzesko City's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
