FC Brzesko City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astillero del Guayas the free kick. Astillero del Guayas made a substitution. Lavalle Allo replaced Diego Carredano. In the 25th match minute, FC Brzesko City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borys Zaremba to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Zaquiel Boñar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Tscherner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41stth minute of the game Lavalle Allo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Brzesko City's Leon Tscherner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Vinicio Collado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marek Grunwalski. Vinicio Collado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gilbert Cetnar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 45 minute of play. In the 47th minute, Zuberoa Sanguino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Astillero del Guayas's Vinicio Collado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Ziomkowski in the 59th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Zaquiel Boñar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogumil Chojnacki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Brzesko City's Leon Tscherner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lavalle Allo in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, FC Brzesko City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezary Wieloch to maneuver through the defense. When Marek Grunwalski fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Brzesko City's protests and gave Marek Grunwalski a yellow card for diving instead. Vinicio Collado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vinicio Collado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Domalik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Gilbert Cetnar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vinicio Collado was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. After having played for 97 minutes, Ziemowit Ziomkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Brzesko City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ziemowit Ziomkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
