The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Horea Hurmuzache stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico de Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. OFFLINE's supporters rose to their feet, but Nico de Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horea Hurmuzache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Emanuel Ardeleanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Eugen Bobocea got a free kick in the 11th minute. Serginho Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Rednic in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, OFFLINE's Dorian Loureiro got a free kick in the 13th minute. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. David Greblă hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, OFFLINE's Horea Hurmuzache threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nico de Mendonça, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Horea Hurmuzache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dumitru Zafiu during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nico de Mendonça who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Horea Hurmuzache when he managed to save the team from getting behind. OFFLINE's Luiz Fábio Schmidt got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Greblă charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Greblă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, David Greblă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Benê Amorim fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Emanuel Ardeleanu got a free kick in the 35th minute. Nico de Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horea Hurmuzache. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nico de Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute, Vágner Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serginho Taffarel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugen Bobocea's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After 45 played minutes, DINAMO's Basarab Bâlea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Serginho Taffarel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DINAMO reached it. Serginho Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Greblă in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Rednic to make the kick off. Horea Hurmuzache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico de Mendonça in the 54th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Nico de Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horea Hurmuzache was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nico de Mendonça in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horea Hurmuzache saved DINAMO from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico de Mendonça in the 61st minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Horea Hurmuzache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 minutes DINAMO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vágner Gaspar who took care of the corner kick. In the 65th minute, Eugen Bobocea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Ronaldinho Braga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horea Hurmuzache was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Horea Hurmuzache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico de Mendonça in the 85th minute of play. Dumitru Zafiu kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Nico de Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OFFLINE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nico de Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horea Hurmuzache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Braga in the 89th minute of the match. If Ronaldinho Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. OFFLINE were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of DINAMO for a fine match.
