Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) OFFLINE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Anibal Fernendo scored to the left of an out of position Serginho Taffarel, making the score, 1-0. Baldomiro Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Taffarel having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Valentin Enekoitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Serginho Taffarel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Serginho Taffarel was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Baldomiro Gamus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baldomiro Gamus really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 22 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Gamus notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of OFFLINE's Serginho Taffarel. Serginho Taffarel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benê Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Dantae. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benê Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, OFFLINE's Serginho Taffarel got control of the ball when Valentin Enekoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Palermo's Baldomiro Gamus in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye OFFLINE's goalie prevented a goal. After 31 played minutes, Palermo's Baldomiro Eutor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Serginho Taffarel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palermo reached it. OFFLINE's Serginho Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Fernendo in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Palermo's zone, Benê Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Dantae came out of the goal and Benê Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in OFFLINE fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, Palermo's Alvaro Ermano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Serginho Taffarel. In the 44th minute Anibal Fernendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Carlos Alberto Saraiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OFFLINE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palermo the free kick. A collision led to OFFLINE getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Carlos Alberto Saraiva hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Nico de Mendonça made the kick off in the second half. OFFLINE's Serginho Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Eutor in the 54th minute of play. Ronaldinho Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Marcial Dantae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 played minutes OFFLINE got a freekick which was hit by Nico de Mendonça. 73 minutes into the match, OFFLINE's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Gamus came free, but Serginho Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Valentin Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serginho Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Gamus in the 75th minute of the match. Marcial Dantae made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nico de Mendonça in the 77th minute. Serginho Taffarel came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Palermo's Baldomiro Gamus. But to his dismay, Baldomiro Gamus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Marcial Dantae made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Marcelo Branco sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nico de Mendonça during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
