After 27th play minutes Petru Moldoveanu shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Alípio Regalado and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ponte do Carro's zone, Petru Moldoveanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alípio Regalado came out of the goal and Petru Moldoveanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 minutes Ponte do Carro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maxim Cara who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on F.C.BARLAD's corner Maxim Cara fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alípio Regalado quite easily take care of the ball. Silvério Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute Petru Moldoveanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alípio Regalado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maxim Cara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Alípio Regalado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ponte do Carro booed when F.C.BARLAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinu Cârțan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moisés Nogueira was the one to do the kick off.
