Jenipapo SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vanadio F.C. the free kick. Vanadio F.C. made a substitution. Asier Raña replaced Txaran Herenchun. After a rather tough play, Jenipapo SC's Eriberto dos Santos got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 8 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Brodel. Alberto Couto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If José Pedro Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaká Lopes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakob Pernambucano's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute, Leonardo Magalhães left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jenipapo SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Kaká Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Curiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Curiel in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaká Lopes saved Jenipapo SC from getting behind. The supporters of Vanadio F.C. booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cacá Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jakob Pernambucano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 66th minute Christian Arratia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaká Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Arratia came free, but Kaká Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Magalhães came free, but Esteban Aleson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jakob Pernambucano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Kaká Lopes made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Curiel got free with Kaká Lopes in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Jenipapo SC's Kaká Lopes got control of the ball when Jakob Pernambucano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Kaká Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakob Pernambucano. After 89 played minutes Vanadio F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Romano Montoya. Esteban Aleson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy Lopes in the 90th minute of play. Jenipapo SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Christian Arratia scored to the left of an out of position Kaká Lopes, making the score, 1-3.
