Marcelo da Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alvin Stålman charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvin Stålman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. It was a penalty for Hawelka Himalayan High! Ernst Nordgren had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Álvaro Silva's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ernst Nordgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Alvarenga's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Hawelka Himalayan High's Ernst Nordgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Alvarenga in the 31st minute of play. Gustavo Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Durvalino de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Ernst Nordgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Silva in the 42nd minute of the match. Marcelo da Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gottfrid Almkvist in the 45th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Gottfrid Almkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hawelka Himalayan High's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gottfrid Almkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Villiam Ekman to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelo da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gottfrid Almkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Hawelka Himalayan High's goalkeeper Ernst Nordgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zézinho Silva. Marcelo da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Villiam Ekman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute Gottfrid Almkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durvalino de Queiroz's late challenge caught a Hawelka Himalayan High's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Durvalino de Queiroz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hawelka Himalayan High booed when Danone CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villiam Ekman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelo da Costa. Danone CC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Hawelka Himalayan High players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
