New England Minas's Bradly Gray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Rupp in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brice Wang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bradly Gray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Aicher in the 18th minute of play. Anton Aicher kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Oscar Price sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hertha 1969's Carl Eisold didn't even have to move. The audience was convinced that Lev Gabriel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bradly Gray was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. New England Minas's Bradly Gray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karsten Wolsch in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adi Köhler during the 31st minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lutz Ertel during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bradly Gray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lev Gabriel, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, Lutz Ertel made a precise shot to the right of Bradly Gray. New England Minas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 78 minutes of play, New England Minas's Dwayne Clement made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carl Eisold was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bradly Gray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lutz Ertel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Lutz Ertel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bradly Gray was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. With a little luck, New England Minas's Bradly Gray got control of the ball when Adi Köhler tried to sneak it across the goal line.
