Rolando Villalobos's late challenge caught a SlaYerS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 13 played minutes ORION F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Villalobos. 14 minutes into the game, Stefan Komornicki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SlaYerS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ORION F.C. the free kick. In the 15th minute, Fernando Escobar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ORION F.C.'s Pablo Arauz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Komornicki in the 21st minute of play. Iwan Hodas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo De Paredes in the 27th minute. ORION F.C.'s Fernando Escobar got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bartosz Liberko charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
