A collision led to Teodelina FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Tiburcio Maureo hit a great ball. Max De Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Frans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Teodelina FC's Ubaldo Fillol got control of the ball when Luchito Vergara tried to sneak it across the goal line. ORION F.C. were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Teodelina FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan Herrera took the corner. In the 27th minute Placido Kauldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max De Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Placido Kauldi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ORION F.C.'s Max De Paredes. Max De Paredes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Vicente Ganix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luchito Vergara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ubaldo Fillol having to make a save. Max De Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Kauldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Reggie García's late challenge caught a Teodelina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reggie García helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes, Teodelina FC's Clemente Oxel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Max De Paredes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Teodelina FC reached it. Max De Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Frans in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julio Mora was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, ORION F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Ganix came free, but Max De Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubaldo Fillol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luchito Vergara, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Tiburcio Maureo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Teodelina FC's Eliseo Gaufred was substituted for Abel Frans. Eduardo Calderón hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beto Navarro during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eliseo Gaufred could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Max De Paredes made a huge save. When Teodelina FC's Miguel Ángel Borja in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Teodelina FC booed when ORION F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Zapata didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Teodelina FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ORION F.C. throughout the match.
