Tobiasz Niedzwiecki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şota Arveladze went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in MATRIX TEAM's zone, Şota Arveladze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobiasz Niedzwiecki came out of the goal and Şota Arveladze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tanek Ostrowski made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Tytus Drab sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the match, MATRIX TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Domeracki came free, but Tobiasz Niedzwiecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Olympique Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Jakisz came free, but Tanek Ostrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olympique Gdynia were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after MATRIX TEAM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabio-Roman Zabaleta took the corner. The corner led Olympique Gdynia's Fabio-Roman Zabaleta to fire away a dangerous shot which Tobiasz Niedzwiecki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tanek Ostrowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Jakisz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Şota Arveladze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobiasz Niedzwiecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Olympique Gdynia's Tanek Ostrowski got control of the ball when Brad Ridding tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Olympique Gdynia's goalkeeper Tanek Ostrowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brad Ridding. Tobiasz Niedzwiecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Domeracki in the 37th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Olympique Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Brad Ridding came free, but Tanek Ostrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Olympique Gdynia getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Tirso Isasaga hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Czeslaw Domeracki made the kick off in the second half. When Izydor Filanowski fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MATRIX TEAM's protests and gave Izydor Filanowski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Olympique Gdynia booed when MATRIX TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Izydor Filanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute Czeslaw Domeracki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobiasz Niedzwiecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobiasz Niedzwiecki came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Gdynia's Czeslaw Domeracki. But to his dismay, Czeslaw Domeracki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 64th minute Tirso Isasaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobiasz Niedzwiecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lech Lele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Czeslaw Domeracki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Tobiasz Niedzwiecki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tobiasz Niedzwiecki was a little too slow when Czeslaw Domeracki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 2-3. Czeslaw Domeracki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Tobiasz Niedzwiecki made a huge save. Tanek Ostrowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Chmielecki in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, MATRIX TEAM's goalkeeper Tobiasz Niedzwiecki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tirso Isasaga. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brad Ridding in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanek Ostrowski saved Olympique Gdynia from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, MATRIX TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Tirso Isasaga came free, but Tobiasz Niedzwiecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Olympique Gdynia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
