AB Tårnby's Iliyan Glogov quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Kenn Fronval took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Lei Feng Yan suffered a sore thigh after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geovani Medeiros made a kick off.
