Jan de Vlieger started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zebastian Bergfeldt in the 7th minute of play forced FC CSKA's goalkeeper Georgi Velinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Ahmet Refik Ülgü notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles. Ralph Roeles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16thth minute of the game Ahmet Refik Ülgü who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Georgi Velinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan de Vlieger in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Ahmet Refik Ülgü hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Jan de Vlieger notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov. Georgi Velinov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Georgi Velinov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 45th minute Ahmet Refik Ülgü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Roeles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Georgi Dimitrov hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Julias Rascals Apeldoorn defense, Ruslan Dzhalev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ralph Roeles. The Julias Rascals Apeldoorn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ralph Roeles should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov got control of the ball when Jan de Vlieger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ralph Roeles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruslan Dzhalev, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The audience was convinced that Ruslan Dzhalev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ralph Roeles was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruslan Dzhalev in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ralph Roeles saved Julias Rascals Apeldoorn from getting behind. Johan Saveneij hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC CSKA getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Georgi Dimitrov hit a great ball.
